Caleb Iyasele is a graduate of the University of Benin with a BA in Fine and Applied Art, majoring in Painting (2025). Inspired by human connections and the moments shared, he draws influence from the reality and spontaneity of life. He works with any available medium to create and expand his knowledge, often beginning with adumbration and allowing the painting to evolve through layers of colours and form.
His paintings serve as a point of contact and reflection for the viewer, illustrating his artistic journey and evolution in storytelling.
The opportunity to meet with artists from different backgrounds and ideals, working together and sharing ideas. A visit to the Museum of West African Art campus rounded out the experience.
